Gypsy Jazz (also known as gypsy swing or hot club jazz) is a style of jazz music started by guitarist Jean "Django" Reinhardt in the 1930s. Because its origins are largely in France it is often called by the French name, "Jazz manouche," or alternatively, "manouche jazz". Many of the musicians in this style worked in Paris in various popular Musette ensembles. The Musette style waltz remains an important component in the Gypsy jazz repertoire.  Reinhardt's most famous group, the Quintette du Hot Club de France, also brought fame to jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli.

Our Classic Swing repertoire includes all the Jazz Standards from the Great American Song Book (performed by artists such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett...) as well as some French Jazz tunes that became hits in the US (such as Beyond the Sea, The Good Life, I Wish You Love, What Now My Love, Autumn Leaves...)

Bal-musette is a style of French music and dance that first became popular in Paris in the 1880s.
By 1945, the bal-musette became the most popular style of dance in France and its biggest stars were widely known across the country, such as Edith Piaf and multiple others.

Our 50-60s French pop music repertoire includes songs performed by Jacques Dutronc, Joe Dassin, Charles Aznavour, Serge Gainsbourg...
